North Alabama State Fair
We will have a booth at the North Alabama State Fair from September 14-20. We plan to talk with people about honeybees and educate the community on the benefits (and risks) of being a beekeeper. We will be giving away a free pass to the January 23, 2027 Beginning Beekeeper Class!

Monthly association meetings
The Northwest Alabama Beekeepers Association holds monthly educational meetings designed for beekeepers of all experience levels. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned expert, you will find valuable insights and opportunities to learn and grow with our community. All are invited to attend!
Meeting details
Our monthly meetings take place on the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM. We gather at the Helen Keller Public Library, 511 N. Main St., Tuscumbia, Alabama. Each session is structured to provide engaging content and foster collaboration among our members and guests. Come and share your experiences, ask questions, and learn new techniques.
Beyond our regular meetings
In addition to our monthly gatherings, the Northwest Alabama Beekeepers Association presents a beginning Beekeeping class scheduled in January or February of each year. The 2027 Beginning Beekeepers class will be held on January 23, 2027.
The association also promotes various regional and national beekeeping conferences. These events offer unique opportunities for advanced learning, networking with broader beekeeping communities, and staying updated on industry trends.
